What started as humble beginnings as a Youtube 'makeup guru' in 2008 led to being a 3x published boudoir makeup artist in Germany in 2011. We've been working with brides and photographers for over 12 years now and have become Tippecanoe County's preferred wedding and photo makeup artistry. We opened our downtown studio in 2021, and have a handful of estheticians offering a variety of services. Keep reading to learn more about our owner and Senior Artist.

Our makeup and skincare studio is located in Downtown Lafayette between Ferry and Main, right behind Roth Florist. We offer Elevated Glowing Glam™ makeup applications for weddings, photography, and events with a focus on skin needs. We also have a full-service spa and specialize in skincare offering signature & advanced facials, body treatments, lash & brow care, facial and full body waxing. Our space is shared with 3 other amazing estheticians, Hannah Orbik with Bare Skin Society, Emily Wolfe with Brows by Wolfe, and Dorie Mertz of Lune Chérie Esthetics.

Hey there, Beautiful! I'm Kristen, Owner, Senior Artist, and Esthetician at Phoenix in Flight Beauty Services.
Going from Kristen Ridge, MUA to Phoenix in Flight MUA (which is now Beauty Services) in 2017 was a big jump in branding. The biggest question I get is “What’s with the Phoenix?”. I’m going to be blunt–I didn’t want to be the focal point of my artistry.
What I do isn’t about me. It’s about my clients. About YOU. The Phoenix represents each and every one of us that have had to walk through flames to be where we are today. The ones who have been brought down to ash and have had to start over...maybe time and time again. Finally, being in Flight represents spreading your wings and soaring without limits.
